Nicholas Pearce
Founder &
Head of Acquisitions
Over a decade of driving global transformation, business turnaround, and restructuring at scale across Nokia, Telstra, and the Nine Network. He now leads high-stakes acquisitions from strategy through to integration..
Nicholas’s approach to operational management was shaped by more than a decade inside some of the world’s most complex corporate transformations — designing global workforce strategies, leading cost programmes, and rebuilding business unit economics under real pressure. His philosophy on business advisory is direct: preserve what the seller has built, remove what slows it down, and grow it with tools the team can actually use. At Pearce & Gomez, he leads acquisitions from first contact through post-close integration, with a particular focus on owner-operated businesses where strong fundamentals have been underleveraged for lack of structure or succession planning. He relocated to Spain in 2026 to build the group’s first acquisition platform there, applying corporate-grade rigour to businesses that have never had access to it..
Lorena Gomez Gaviria
Head of Advisory
Bringing nearly a decade of experience driving Industry 4.0 transformation across Digital Industries, led business incubation and partnership development on projects spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia, she now guides clients in turning emerging technology into real business results.
Lorena's career has taken her across industrial digitalisation initiatives in Latin America, Europe, and Asia leading business incubation programmes and technology partnerships in environments where implementation complexity is as high as the commercial ambition. Her particular strength is closing the gap between what technology can theoretically deliver and what a business is actually ready to absorb, a discipline that becomes critical in the months immediately following any acquisition. At Pearce & Gomez, she guides portfolio companies through the integration decisions that determine whether a deal creates lasting value or simply changes the letterhead. She brings both the strategic framework and the execution patience to see it through.
